Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
Remembr (the "App") is a memorial social network owned and operated by the Remembr development team. Contact: hello@remembr-app.com.
2. Data we collect
- Account data — name, email and profile picture obtained through Google Sign-In (OAuth).
- User-generated content — photos, audio recordings, written tributes, comments, family-tree relationships and memorial profiles you create.
- Interaction data — candles lit, gifts sent, follows (“Affianca”), reports and analytics events.
- Purchase data — the transaction identifier returned by Google Play Billing or Apple StoreKit for digital gifts. We do NOT receive your card or payment information.
- Technical data — device push token (for notifications) and minimal request logs for security.
3. How we use it
- To operate the App’s core features (memorial profiles, social feed, AI tribute assistant powered by Anthropic Claude).
- To send anniversary reminders, monthly digest emails (Resend) and push notifications.
- To deliver digital gifts and enforce one-time-use purchase receipts.
- To moderate reported content and protect the community.
4. Legal basis
Performance of contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)) for account & content features; legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f)) for security and moderation; consent (art. 6(1)(a)) for marketing emails (you can opt out at any time).
5. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with the processors strictly required to run the service: MongoDB Atlas (hosting), Google & Apple (authentication & billing), Anthropic (AI text generation), Resend (transactional email), Expo (push notifications). Public memorials and their content are visible to other Remembr users; private memorials are visible only to the owner and the people they invite.
6. Retention
Account data is kept until you ask for deletion. Memorial content is kept until the owner deletes it or the account is removed. Backups are purged within 30 days of deletion.
7. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
You can access, correct, export or erase your data. To exercise these rights see the dedicated pages below or write to privacy@remembr-app.com.
8. Children
Remembr is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has signed up, contact us and we will remove the account. See also our Child Safety Standards.
9. Security
All traffic between the App and our servers is encrypted with TLS 1.2+. Passwords are never stored (we rely on Google OAuth). Session tokens expire automatically after 7 days.
10. Changes
We will notify users in-app of any material change to this policy at least 14 days before it takes effect.

Trattiamo i dati strettamente necessari per offrirti il servizio: dati account (Google Sign-In), contenuti che carichi (foto, audio, tributi), interazioni sociali, identificatori di transazione per gli acquisti in-app e token di notifica. Non vendiamo i tuoi dati.
Base giuridica: esecuzione del contratto (art. 6.1.b GDPR), legittimo interesse per sicurezza/moderazione, consenso per le email di marketing.
